Anne’s Grove is an historic estate located near Castletownroche Co. Cork. It was the home of the Annesley family from the 1600s until 2015 when it was gifted to the Irish state and entered the care of the Office of Public Works.

The estate is situated above the River Awbeg in a landscape of woodland, river and glen reminiscent of the poet Edmund Spenser's epic poem The Fairie Queen written in nearby Kilcolman Castle.

The oldest part of the gardens is the Walled Garden, originally laid out in the 18th century, while the Woodlands Garden holds some of the earliest rhododendrons introduced to Ireland.

The Office of Public Works has carried out extensive work on the house, outbuildings, and gardens, and this work is ongoing.

This is a country garden site featuring rough terrain, uneven surfaces, steep drops and open water.

Appropriate footwear and clothing required. (This is an outdoor site)

Dogs are not permitted on site. (with the exception of Assistance Dogs).

No cycling, scooting , rollerblading or ball games allowed.

No camping.
