Nano Nagle Birthplace, is a 'living heritage centre' located amongst the breathtaking scenery of the Blackwater Valley on a 32-acre organic farm. It is an ideal place for refining a connection to the natural world.

The centre marks the birthplace of the foundress of the Presentation Congregation, Nano Nagle.

The centre provides tranquillity and spirituality and is the perfect location for those looking for some time out in a natural peaceful setting.

The centre’s mission is to promote a vision of eco-spirituality - the natural interconnectedness of everything, which leads to personal transformation and a sense of responsibility to our earth and to all living beings.

They run retreats, courses, school programmes, day away programmes and host conferences & events. Visitors can come and do a heritage & organic farm tour, cosmic walk, work on an allotment and simply enjoy the natural beauty of the place.

The base is a 32 acre certified organic farm with dining facilities and self-catering accommodation that operates to the highest environmental standards.

There are 3 self-catering bungalows on site that can accommodate individuals or groups of up to eighteen people. One of the bungalows is divided into three self-catering apartments. Information available from the centre.
